It has been an exciting year for employees from Gateshead-based oil and lubricants manufacturer, GB Lubricants, as they continue to fundraise and support The Great North Air Ambulance Charity. So far, they have worn their favourite football shirts to work, taken part in a parachute jump and most recently they have donated their pre-loved clothes to raise money for the charity.
Employees from all over the company collected 132 kilos of clothing which has raised an incredible £396 that will go towards the lifesaving service that The Great North Air Ambulance provides throughout the Northeast, Cumbria, North Yorkshire, and the Isle of Man.
The team at GB Lubricants are looking forward to more fundraising events in the coming months and thoroughly enjoyed cleaning out their wardrobes to support the charity.
