GB Lubricants Bake For Charity

 It’s that time of year again where people are glued to their telly’s watching people battle over their bakes. Inspired by this, the team at GB Lubricants hosted a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. There was a wide variety of cakes, sweet treats and savouries made that were worthy of a handshake, and that was reflected in the amount of money raised for this incredible charity; a fantastic £500 was donated!

Macmillan Cancer Support raises funds to help provide those living with cancer with emotional, practical, physical and financial support. In the UK more than 3 million people are living with cancer, and this is said to rise to 4 million by 2030.

This is just one of many fantastic fundraising events, that employees from GB Lubricants have hosted to raise money for a worthy cause. Including a sky dive, wearing your favourite football shirt to work day and fun activities to prioritise employees mental health.
