The GB Lubricant’s team in Gateshead showed their support for St Oswald’s Hospice, the company’s chosen charity for 2026, by holding a fantastic wear a hat day!
There was a lot of fantastic hats on display from employees across the company. From Cowboy to Court Jester, to Circus clown and leprechaun, there was lots of bonnets on display, even an appearance from Santa. However, it was Technical Manager, Paul Crozier, who notably wore one of the most exciting pieces of headwear of the day, sporting a ‘Dick Whittington’ style hat which went down well.
The team showed great enthusiasm for the event by raising £360 for the hospice, a total that will help provide care for patients and their families across the North East. The money raised is enough to fund 24 bereavement support sessions for those struggling with the death of a loved one.
The amount donated for this event is in addition to the £900 in December 2025 for the ‘300k in 33 hours fundraiser’. GB Lubricants employees will be aiming to beat their impressive total of £4000 raised for St Oswald’s Hospice across 2022 & 2023 and have made a great start to their mission.
St Oswald’s is a charitable hospice which cares for patients of all ages living with life-limiting conditions, as well as their families and carers. GB Lubricants is incredibly proud to support their work.
