Essential Lubricants for The Forestry Industry

GB Lubricants’ range of forestry oils, lubricants and greases has been specifically formulated to meet the various needs required to ensure forestry vehicles and equipment stay well-maintained and do not let you down when you need them most. Applications for these products include chainsaw oils, two-stroke oils, gear and transmissions, hydraulics, coolants, greases and many more. There is an increasing awareness of the environmental impact of the large volume of lubricants entering the environment, and, consequently, mineral-based lubricants in environmentally sensitive areas are being gradually replaced by biodegradable fluids. We have specially formulated a range of products, GB UNIBIO, using biodegradable components as an alternative to traditional mineral-based lubricants, especially for use in areas of environmental sensitivity.

GB CHAINSAW RANGE –Specially developed dedicated chain oils with adhesive properties, which will protect and lubricate the chains and bars of chainsaws. Used correctly, they will prolong the life of the chain and reduce breakage.

GB UNIBIO CHAINSAW RANGE – To protect the environment, the use of environmentally considerate lubricants is of increasing importance, where either the risk of spillage is high or total loss of lubrication applies. However, the technical performance of such lubricants must have equal priority.

The GB UNIBIO® CHAINSAW OIL RANGE are specially developed, biodegradable, dedicated chain oils with adhesive properties, designed to protect and lubricate the chains and bars of chainsaws.

GB UNIGREASE LEP1 – A premium quality multi-purpose lithium grease, incorporating extreme-pressure additives for use in all plain and anti-friction bearings subjected to high load conditions.

GB UNIBIO SAW BLADE OIL – A readily biodegradable lubricant for band saw and circular saw blades. Developed using specially selected additives and vegetable oil, this saw blade oil provides highly effective lubrication with minimum impact on the environment and operators.

GB TRANSWAY HG RANGE – Have been developed using the highest quality mineral virgin base oils and multifunctional additives to meet the exacting requirements of modern machine tool slideways, while offering the anti-wear properties of a hydraulic oil. Their dual-purpose formulation makes them ideal for use where grade rationalisation is being considered.

GB UNIPRO SAW BLADE OIL 22 – Formulated using highly refined, virgin paraffinic base oils. It has been developed for use as a lubricant for band and circular saw blades as part of GB Lubricants’ UNIPRO SAW BLADE range of products.

GB UNIGREASE LXEP2 – A premium quality multi-purpose lithium complex grease, for use in all plain and anti-friction bearings. Its exceptional performance can provide extended lubrication intervals, even under arduous conditions and wider operating temperature ranges.
