GB Lubricants have recently become a COVID Community Champion with Gateshead Council.

The company, which is over 140 years old, has a representation on the scheme where there are over 200 individuals from various services, businesses and organisations from across Gateshead who share information on COVID in the local community.

The scheme, which was setup to communicate the latest guidance and advice, to ensure that the vaccines can have their full-impact and that life can return to normal as soon as possible.

Emma Lynn, Health and Safety and Business Systems Manager at GB Lubricants, commented: “We signed up in December to ensure that we could help spread the word about what the latest advice and guidance is with regards to COVID. It’s been great to meet people from the other businesses, services and organisations in the midst of the pandemic over Microsoft Teams. It really does show the strength of the community; coming together during a worrying time for everyone”.
