New Laboratory Apprentice Joins GB Lubricants

GB Lubricants are pleased to introduce the newest member of their expanding laboratory team, Connick Hope.

Connick has joined as a Laboratory Technician Apprentice and is part of GB Lubricants continuing developments to drive the business forward.

The laboratory technician apprenticeship role was created so that GB Lubricants could help an individual kickstart their career in the science and lubricants industry.

Initially Connick will be involved in quality control monitoring of incoming raw materials to the Gateshead site. He will also engage in production batch testing of the wide variety of oils and lubricants that are produced. These include engine oils, gear and transmission oils, hydraulic oils and many more.

When asked what he thought about his new position, Connick explained “I am looking forward to learning and understanding how a busy laboratory operates to ensure that quality products are manufactured and delivered to the end user”

Moving forward there will be some exciting research and development projects for Connick to get his teeth into; as GB Lubricants is constantly developing its expanding oil and lubricants product ranges.
